Although the Galaxy S9 is way older than Asus ROG Phone 8, it's body is a little thinner and incredibly lighter. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a much better performing CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S9, because although it has a much lower number of pixels in each inch of display and a way worse 1080 x 2400px resolution, it also counts with a larger screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 features more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
