Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 has a global score of 89.1, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S9's overall score of 83.3. Huawei Mate X2's construction is incredibly newer and just a little bit thinner than Galaxy S9's, but it's extremely heavier. Galaxy S9 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit lower 1440 x 2960 resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X2 counts with more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a way better battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. Huawei Mate X2 takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a much smaller camera aperture and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S9, letting go a couple features and specifications.
