Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S9, getting an 88.2 score against 83.3. Huawei P40 Pro is a notably newer device than Samsung Galaxy S9, but it is much heavier and a little bit thicker. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy S9 has a little bit better screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater display density and a slightly better 1440 x 2960px resolution. The Huawei P40 Pro takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy S9, because although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera with a lot better resolution.
Galaxy S9 counts with a greater memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 400 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a really longer battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
