Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has an overall score of 85.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S9's 83.3 score. Microsoft Surface Duo 2's body is noticeably newer and noticeably thinner than Samsung Galaxy S9's, but it is extremely heavier. The Galaxy S9 has a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a much smaller screen and a quite lower 1440 x 2960 resolution, it also counts with a greater display density.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy S9 features a bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.

Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has a 4449mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy S9 counts with a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy S9 also has a larger camera aperture for better captures and video in low-light environments.

Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S9, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
