Samsung Galaxy A51 is slightly better than the Galaxy S9, having a general score of 85.5 against 83.3. Samsung Galaxy A51 is a newer and a little bit thinner device than Galaxy S9, but it is also just a little heavier. The Galaxy S9 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A51. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S9 has a bit better looking display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Galaxy A51 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a lot tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a camera with much more megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A51 features better battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy A51 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S9, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
