Comparison review
The Galaxy S9 is slightly better than Galaxy Note 5, having an 83.3 score against 79.3. Galaxy S9's design is a lot newer and a little lighter than Galaxy Note 5's, but it is a bit thicker. The Galaxy S9 features a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy S9 also has a higher number of faster cores.
Galaxy Note 5 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S9, although it has a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a quite smaller display and a little lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px. The Galaxy S9 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S9 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
The Galaxy Note 5's battery lifetime is very similar to the Galaxy S9 one. The Galaxy S9 takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a worse video resolution and a back-facing camera with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture and a bigger camera sensor.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S9 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, making buying this phone an easy decision.
