Samsung Galaxy S9 has a general score of 83.3, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's 79 score. Although the Samsung Galaxy S9 is extremely newer than the Samsung Galaxy S4, it's just a little bit thicker and way heavier. The Galaxy S4 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S9, although it has a little smaller screen, a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little inferior pixel count per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and more cpu cores. The Galaxy S9 counts with more memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S9 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 400 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a little better battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S9 shoots better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse resolution, it also counts with a much bigger aperture for better photography and video in low-light environments, a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality photos and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Samsung Galaxy S9 is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S4, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
