Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip is slightly better than Galaxy S9, having an 88.5 score against 83.3. Although Galaxy Z Flip is heavier than Galaxy S9, it's thinner and also newer. Galaxy Z Flip features a little bit better performance than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory.
Galaxy S9 has just a bit better display than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better pixels number in each screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Galaxy S9 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip both have quite similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a smaller camera aperture, they both have a 0.39 inches sensor, a back-facing camera with a 12 MP, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates. Galaxy Z Flip features a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S9, giving up some specifications.
