Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a global score of 92.3, which is much better than Galaxy S9's overall score of 83.3. Galaxy Z Flip 5G's body is newer and thinner than the Galaxy S9's, but it's also somewhat heavier. Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a little better performance than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better number of pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a camera that is just as good as the camera in Samsung Galaxy S9, and although the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and video, they both have a 0.39 inches sensor, the same (4K) video quality, the same resolution camera and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has a 10% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S9. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Galaxy S9, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
