Samsung Galaxy S9 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a larger sensor providing a better image quality, a bigger aperture for better photography and video in low light environments and better 60 fps video frame rates.
