Galaxy S9 has an overall score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX's 76.2 overall score. Although the Galaxy S9 is a bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi MIX, it's lighter and also newer. The Galaxy S9 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has a greater number of cores (and faster). The Galaxy S9 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 400 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a way better battery performance than Galaxy S9, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. Samsung Galaxy S9 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a back facing camera with a lot worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a lot larger diafragm aperture for better photos in low-light situations.
