Xperia SP is a little bit better than the Galaxy SL, getting a 63.1 score against 57.5. The Xperia SP construction is just a little thinner but heavier than the Galaxy SL. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia SP has the newer 4.3 version while Galaxy SL has Android 2.2 version, so it provides a couple additional features and enhanced performance.
The Sony Xperia SP features a quite superior performance than Galaxy SL, because it has an extra graphics co-processor, 546 MB more RAM memory and more processing cores. Sony Xperia SP has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy SL, because it has a quite bigger display, a much better 1280 x 720 resolution and a higher screen pixel density.
The Galaxy SL counts with a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia SP, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Galaxy SL also has 16 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy SL shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia SP, although it has a lot lower video definition and a back facing camera with a much worse resolution.
The Xperia SP counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy SL, because it has 2370mAh of battery capacity.
Xperia SP not only is the best phones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
