Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 78.3, which is a lot better than the Galaxy V's 56.5 score. The Galaxy S4 body is noticeably thinner but just a little heavier than Galaxy V. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS, but Galaxy S4 has newer 5.0 version while Galaxy V has Android 4.4.2 version, giving a couple additional features.

The Galaxy S4 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy V, because it has a larger number of faster cores and more RAM. Galaxy S4 features a sharper screen than Galaxy V, because it has a lot higher count of pixels per inch of display, a bigger screen and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080px.

The Galaxy S4 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy V, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back camera with much more MP. Galaxy S4 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy V, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy S4 also has more internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a much better battery duration than Galaxy V, because it has a 73 percent greater battery size.

The Galaxy S4 costs a bit more money than Galaxy V, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
