Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than the Galaxy XCover 5, getting a 90.9 score against 78.1. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a somewhat heavier cellphone than the Galaxy XCover 5, but both of them have the same thickness.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a bigger screen, a better pixel count in each display inch and a much higher 1334 x 2772 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a little bit better memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing photos or video in low light environments, it also counts with a much higher 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lot higher video resolution.
