Galaxy XCover 5 is a bit better than Huawei Mate 8, having a general score of 78.1 against 77.4. The Galaxy XCover 5 body is much newer and just a little bit lighter, but thicker than Huawei Mate 8. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a little bit larger display and a quite higher quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy XCover 5. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
