The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has an overall score of 86.3, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's overall score of 78.1. Motorola Edge 50 Pro's body is a lot newer and thinner, but also a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 50 Pro has newer 14 version and Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version.
Galaxy XCover 5 has a much better performance than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a better pixels count in each inch of display and a larger display.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro takes a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much higher resolution camera in the back, a way larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures and a way better (4K) video resolution.
