Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto G6 Plus, having a general score of 78.1 against 77.5. Galaxy XCover 5's body is newer, but a little bit heavier and thicker than Motorola Moto G6 Plus. Moto G6 Plus has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Moto G6 Plus also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

Moto G6 Plus counts with just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot higher 1080 x 2160px resolution, a little bit larger display and more pixels per inch in the screen. Moto G6 Plus captures a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a back camera with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture and a lot higher (4K) video resolution.

The Galaxy XCover 5 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB. The Motorola Moto G6 Plus has just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 3200mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
