Galaxy XCover 5 is a little bit better than Moto G7 Plus, with a 78.1 score against 76.1. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover 5 has newer 11 version while Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version, so it provides a lot of extra features. Galaxy XCover 5's design is way newer and a little lighter, but also just a little bit thicker than Moto G7 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit better CPU than Moto G7 Plus. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Moto G7 Plus counts with just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a larger display, a much better 1080 x 2270px resolution and a greater count of pixels per display inch.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB. Moto G7 Plus counts with a better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Moto G7 Plus also has a bigger aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Moto G7 Plus features a battery performance that is very similar to the battery life in Galaxy XCover 5.
