The Galaxy XCover 5 is a bit better than Moto G8 Power, having a 78.1 score against 76. The Galaxy XCover 5 design is newer, somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than the Moto G8 Power. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has a more recent 11 version while Moto G8 Power has Android 10 version, providing you a couple additional features.
The Moto G8 Power counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a larger screen, a lot better 1080 x 2300 pixels resolution and a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Moto G8 Power has a processing unit that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 one, they have a Octa-Core processor and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Moto G8 Power shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Moto G8 Power also has a lot higher (4K) video definition and a larger aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited situations. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a greater memory capacity for apps and games than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
Moto G8 Power has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 67 percent larger battery capacity.
