Galaxy XCover 5 has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Play's 76.7 global score. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10, providing you a couple additional features and increased performance. The Galaxy XCover 5 is a lighter device than the Motorola Moto G9 Play, but both are 0.36inches thick.
The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 720 x 1480 and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy XCover 5 features a better memory capacity for applications and games than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1 TB.
Galaxy XCover 5 and Moto G9 Play have incredibly similar CPUs, both have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Moto G9 Play takes way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Moto G9 Play also has a camera with a much higher resolution, a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and video in poorly lited environments and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 67 percent larger battery capacity.
