The Galaxy XCover 5 has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 8 Pro's overall score of 77.2. The Galaxy XCover 5 construction is newer and lighter than the OnePlus 8 Pro's, although it is just a bit thicker. OnePlus 8 Pro has a much sharper screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much higher 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution, a lot greater pixels density and a bigger screen.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 1 TB. OnePlus 8 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 Pro has a much longer battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4510mAh battery size against 3000mAh. OnePlus 8 Pro has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a lot better (4K) video definition and a much higher 48 MP resolution back-facing camera.
