The Galaxy XCover 5 has a score of 78.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy A22's 76.1 score. Even though Galaxy XCover 5 and the Galaxy A22 were released only 4 months apart, the Galaxy XCover 5 construction is just a little thicker but a little bit lighter than the Galaxy A22. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the previous 11 version and Galaxy A22 has Android 12 version.
The Galaxy XCover 5 and the Galaxy A22 have quite similar processors, they have 8 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit better display than Galaxy A22, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a quite lower 720 x 1480 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same video definition, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has a way better resolution back facing camera. Galaxy A22's memory capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 one, both of them have a SD card slot that allows up to 1 TB and exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
