The Samsung Galaxy M12 has a general score of 80, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's global score of 78.1. Although it's the best phone we are comparing here, we must tell that it's also a just a little bit thicker and much heavier phone. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M12 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11.
Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse resolution of 720 x 1480px, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy M12 has a CPU that's just as good as the Galaxy XCover 5 one, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Galaxy M12's storage for games and applications is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 one, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1 TB and equal 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy M12 takes better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera.
Galaxy M12 has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
