The Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy XCover 5's 78.1 global score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11, giving you a lot of extra features. The Galaxy M30 is a older and just a little heavier phone than the Galaxy XCover 5, but Samsung was able to build it just a little bit thinner anyway.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M30, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a higher amount of pixels per screen inch, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a bigger screen.
Galaxy M30 features a camera that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 one, although the Galaxy M30 has a lower video quality, a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light images and videos and a lesser megapixels back facing camera. The Galaxy M30 features a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy M30 has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
