Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a global score of 81.6, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy XCover 5's global score of 78.1. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is much older and a little bit heavier than the Galaxy XCover 5, it's design is still just a little thinner. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the previous 5.0 version and Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit better performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has 4 less processing cores and 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a much more vibrant display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much greater screen density, a much higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos, and they both have a camera with a 16 megapixels, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a way higher (4K) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 4 features just a little better battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity.
