Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Galaxy XCover 5, with an 83 score against 78.1. Both devices we are comparing include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11. Samsung Galaxy Note8's body is just a little bit thinner than Galaxy XCover 5, although it is heavier and was released many years before.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Note8 has a more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a larger screen, a much greater pixels amount per inch in the screen and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.

Galaxy Note8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a camera in the back with lot less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low light photos and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution. Galaxy XCover 5 features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
