The Galaxy S4 has a general score of 79, which is slightly better than Galaxy XCover 5's 78.1 overall score. Galaxy S4's design is noticeably lighter and thinner than the Galaxy XCover 5, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Galaxy S4 has older 4.4 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version.
Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy S4 features an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels number in each inch of display and a better 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a camera with a better 16 mega-pixels resolution and a larger aperture for better photography in low light situations.
The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a little better battery performance than Galaxy S4, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
