The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a bit better than Galaxy XCover 5, having an 83.2 score against 78.1. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 VI has a newer 14 version while Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11 version. The Sony Xperia 1 VI body is extremely lighter and way thinner than the Galaxy XCover 5.
Sony Xperia 1 VI features a more vivid screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a much larger screen and a lot greater pixel number per inch of screen. The Xperia 1 VI has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia 1 VI also has more internal memory.
The Galaxy XCover 5 features a much better performance than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xperia 1 VI counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Xperia 1 VI has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
