The Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max, getting a 78.1 score against 77.5. Even though the Galaxy XCover 5 is somewhat thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max, it's somewhat lighter and also incredibly newer. Xiaomi Mi Max features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a little better pixel density, a higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a larger screen.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy XCover 5 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Mi Max features a way better battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Max shoots slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography, and they both have the same resolution back camera, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
