Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has an overall score of 80.8, which is slightly better than the Galaxy XCover 5's 78.1 overall score. Both phones in this review have the same Android 11 operating system. Although Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G and the Galaxy XCover 5 were released only 2 months apart, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G construction is a bit thinner but also a little heavier.
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has more pixels per display inch, a bigger screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a F1.8 aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G also has a way better resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 67% larger battery capacity.
