Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, with a 78.1 score against 75.7. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 is an older and thicker phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but Samsung was able to build it just a little bit lighter anyway.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a higher display density and a larger screen. The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a much powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot higher 50 MP resolution back facing camera and a much better (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro features a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
