Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 8, with a overall score of 77.6 against 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro body is notably newer, but a lot heavier and thicker than the Huawei Mate 8. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Huawei Mate 8 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has a quite lower screen pixel density, a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little smaller display. Huawei Mate 8's camera is just as good as Galaxy XCover 6 Pro's camera, although the Huawei Mate 8 has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos and a much less MP camera.
Galaxy XCover 6 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity.
