Comparison review

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a general score of 80.1, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8's score of 79.5. Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro construction is notably older, incredibly thicker and somewhat heavier than the Asus ROG Phone 8. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14, giving you a couple additional features and a performance increase.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot worse pixel quantity per display inch and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a way bigger display. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a very superior processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a 22% bigger battery size. The Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots greater photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is worse for taking photos or video in low light situations, it also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera, a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much larger camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
