The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is much better than Galaxy XCover FieldPro's 80.1 general score. Even though Huawei Mate X and the Galaxy XCover FieldPro were released with only 5 months difference, Huawei Mate X's construction is heavier but also way thinner than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo version, providing the user some nice extra features and a performance increase.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a really smaller screen and a quite lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a better pixel number per screen inch. Huawei Mate X counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate X takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a way larger back camera sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality. Huawei Mate X features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage.
Huawei Mate X has a battery performance that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro one.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, giving up a couple specifications.
