Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than the LG G3, having a global score of 80.1 against 76.4. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is a lot newer than LG G3's, although it is incredibly thicker and heavier. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while LG G3 has Android 5.0, so it gives a couple nice extra features.

The LG G3 has a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a little lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the LG G3 also counts with a little bit larger display. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a superior storage for games and applications than LG G3, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

LG G3 and Galaxy XCover FieldPro feature quite similar CPUs, because although the LG G3 has a lower number of cores and they are also slower and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way better battery performance than LG G3, because it has a 50 percent bigger battery capacity.

The LG G3 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing worse quality photos and videos and a way tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking images or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot better video quality and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G3, giving up some specs and features.
