Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is slightly better than the LG G5's 76.1 overall score. These devices come with the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System). Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a noticeably newer cellphone than LG G5, but it is much thicker and much heavier. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also counts with a little higher pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.

The LG G5 features just a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little faster processor than LG G5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a greater number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a superior battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 61% greater battery size. The LG G5 has a greater camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light images and videos and a tinier sensor giving a lower image quality, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a way better (4K) video quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG G5, giving up a couple features and specifications.
