Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a general score of 80.1, which is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface Duo's 78.8 overall score. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, we must note that it's also a noticeably thicker and a little heavier cellphone. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10, counting with a couple additional features and performance optimizations.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro features just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a quite lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels amount in each inch of screen. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has greater battery life than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video and a worse resolution back camera, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface Duo. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Microsoft Surface Duo, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
