Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a bit better than the Motorola Edge (2024), getting an 80.1 score against 78.5. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Edge (2024) has Android 14, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a older, much heavier and thicker cellphone than Motorola Edge (2024).
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a way better processing power than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Motorola Edge (2024) has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way lower display density and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px, it also counts with a bigger screen.
The Motorola Edge (2024) has a better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge (2024) has a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has an 11% larger battery size.
Motorola Edge (2024) takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or video in low light situations, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a lot higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a way bigger sensor.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Edge (2024), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Edge (2024). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Motorola Edge (2024), and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
