Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 general score. These phones have Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, offering a couple nice extra features. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy XCover FieldPro's body is extremely older, a lot heavier and notably thicker than Motorola Edge 40.
Motorola Edge 40 counts with a screen that is just as good as the display in Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although the Motorola Edge 40 has a much lower pixels count per screen inch and a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a bigger screen. Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a better memory capacity for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much faster processor than Motorola Edge 40, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality, a larger aperture for better captures and video in low-light environments, a way better 50 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lot higher video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 2% bigger battery size.
