The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G9 Play, having a global score of 80.1 against 76.7. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10, giving you a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro construction is way heavier and a lot thicker than the Motorola Moto G9 Play.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much sharper display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a way higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit more powerful processor than Moto G9 Play. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
The Moto G9 Play takes greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing images and video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Moto G9 Play also counts with a way more megapixels camera and a much bigger back camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality.
Moto G9 Play's storage capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro's one, they have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. Moto G9 Play has a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
