The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A40, getting an 80.1 score against 79.6. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a newer phone than Samsung Galaxy A40, but it is much thicker and much heavier. These phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
Galaxy A40 and Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro both feature extremely similar storage for games and applications, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy A40 features a superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photos and a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 45 percent larger battery size.
