The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a global score of 80.1, which is a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s overall score of 75.8. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is noticeably newer than the Galaxy A5 (2017)'s, but it is notably heavier and way thicker. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a very superior storage for apps and games than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) also counts with a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
