Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a bit better than the Galaxy J8, getting an 80.1 score against 76.7. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy J8 has Android 10, so it provides some extra features. Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is newer than Galaxy J8, it is notably thicker and a lot heavier.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a lot better looking display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1440 x 2560px resolution and a way better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy J8. They have 8 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy J8 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier camera aperture and a smaller camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also counts with a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
