Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than Galaxy XCover FieldPro's 80.1 global score. The Galaxy Note8 design is extremely thinner and much lighter than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, even though it was released 3 years before. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Note8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features slightly more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy Note8 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking pictures or video in low light environments, and they both have a same size camera sensor and a 12 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy Note8 also counts with a much higher video quality.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has longer battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 36% bigger battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 not only is the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
