The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S4's 79 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is newer, but noticeably heavier and extremely thicker than Galaxy S4. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, providing the user some additional features.

Samsung Galaxy S4 features a slightly better display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a bit smaller display and a little bit inferior pixels amount in each inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and 4 more processing cores. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 2600mAh.

Galaxy S4 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much tinier aperture and a tinier sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a better 13 megapixels resolution back facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S4, giving up some specs and features.
