Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro's 80.1 global score. The Galaxy S5 body is much lighter and incredibly thinner than the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it was released many years before. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S5 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The Galaxy S5's processing unit is very similar to Galaxy XCover FieldPro's processor, because although the Galaxy S5 has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy S5 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, they both have a better amount of pixels per display inch and a screen with the same size.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 2800mAh.

Galaxy S5 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photos and/or video in poorly lited situations and a tinier sensor capturing worse quality photographs, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way more MP back facing camera.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy S5 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it a no doubt choice.
