Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a general score of 80.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 overall score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2, so it provides the user a lot of extra features. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro body is extremely newer than Galaxy S5 Plus's, but it's thicker and a lot heavier.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a lot lower screen density and a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, they both have a display of the same size.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 48 GB more internal memory. Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy S5 Plus has a greater camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures and a much smaller aperture, it also counts with a much better (4K) video definition and a way more megapixels camera.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
