Comparison review

Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than the Galaxy S5 Sport, with an 80.1 score against 77.8. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro construction is extremely newer than the Galaxy S5 Sport's, although it is extremely thicker and noticeably heavier.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a lot worse amount of pixels in each screen inch and a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, they both have a same size screen.

Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 61% more battery capacity.

Galaxy S5 Sport shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos and a tinier sensor capturing less light and duller colors, it also counts with a camera with a much higher 16 mega-pixels resolution and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy XCover FieldPro, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, giving up some specifications.
