The Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 85.7, which is a bit better than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro's 80.1 overall score. Galaxy S6 Edge's design is thinner and noticeably lighter than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it was released 5 years before. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy XCover FieldPro. They have a better pixel amount in each screen inch, exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a display of the same size. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics processor.

The Galaxy S6 Edge takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light photography and video and a tinier back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality, it also counts with a much more MP back camera and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 73% greater battery capacity.
