The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, having an 80.1 score against 78.1. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11, providing some extra features and performance improvements. Although it's the best phone in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, thicker and way heavier.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. Both have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a lot better display density.
Galaxy XCover 5 counts with more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1 TB. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Galaxy XCover 5 has a superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy XCover 5 also counts with a back camera with lot more megapixels.
